About the Recipe
The béchamel sauce is a perfect replacement for the fake vegan cheese, that is mostly colouring and oil. We hope you like this super tasty and grounding homemade lasagne recipe.

Ingredients
Lasagne:
1 Box of Vegan Minced Meat (Gehakt)
1 box/glass jar of tomato puree
Lasagne sheets (of your choice)
Oil of your choice
1 Box of non-hallucinating mushrooms
1-2 Bell peppers (any color)
Seasoning:
2 teaspoons Cumin
2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Veggie bouillon cube
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt (divided)
Black Pepper to taste
Béchamel Sauce:
1/4 cup Oil of your choice
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 - 1 cup Unsweetened plant milk
Salt and pepper to tasteingredient
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Prepare Veggies: Chop the bell peppers and mushrooms. Get all your other ingredients ready.
Step 3
Sauté Veggies: Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add bell peppers, sauté briefly, then add mushrooms and smoked paprika. Cook until mushrooms are partially done.
Step 4
Add Vegan Meat: Introduce vegan minced meat to the pan, along with cumin, garlic powder, veggie bouillon cube, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir everything together.
Step 5
Add Tomato Puree: Pour in the tomato puree and a cup of water. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning. Set aside.
Step 6
Béchamel Sauce: Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Once warm, add flour and whisk fast. Gradually pour in plant milk, whisking constantly to thicken the sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat when desired thickness is reached.
Step 7
Assemble Lasagne: Rinse lasagne sheets and place them in a lasagne tin. Layer pasta, sauce, pasta, sauce, and repeat until you run out of sauce. Make the top layer sauce.
Step 8
Add Béchamel: Spread béchamel sauce on top of the lasagne. Gently pour it across the pan and use a spatula to smooth it out.
Step 9
Bake: Bake for 45-60 minutes, depending on desired crunchiness.

Serve: Serve the lasagne with a salad or enjoy it on its own.
